Cary Kochman,聽MBA '90, JD '90聽
Cary Kochman is head of the global mergers and acquisitions group as well as chairman of the Chicago office for CITI. He is also a member of the global banking, capital markets and advisory operating committee, which encompasses all corporate and investment banking activities including coverage, lending, capital raising (debt and equity) and advisory activities. With over 30 years of experience in investment banking, Kochman has previously served in M&A-focused roles for UBS Investment Bank and Credit Suisse.
Kochman specializes in advising on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate takeovers, and hostile and activist defense. He has completed transactions with an aggregate value of over $1 trillion.
Kochman received both his JD and MBA degrees from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the Illinois bar and has completed his CPA and CMA examinations. He has previously served as a member of the Council on Chicago Booth and as an advisory board member to the University of Chicago Law School.
