Thursday, April 24
Start the weekend off right with classmates, friends, and alumni at this reunion event that takes you back to Pub Night, Midweek at the Midway, and TNDC. Limited space is available. This is a first come, first served event. Registration does not guarantee entry.

Chicago Booth’s Healthcare Initiative
Speaker: Dan Adelman, Charles I. Clough, Jr. Professor of Operations Management and Co-Director of the Healthcare Initiative
Description: The Healthcare Initiative’s mission is to support faculty working on pathbreaking research and developing healthcare classes grounded in data and evidence; to facilitate opportunities for students and alumni to have a transformative, positive impact on the healthcare system; and to advance The Chicago Approach™ of rigorous inquiry throughout the global healthcare community. In this session, Professor Adelman will highlight recent key accomplishments and discuss upcoming plans.
Highlights from the New Venture Challenge (NVC)
Speakers: Steve Kaplan, Neubauer Family Distinguished Service Professor of Entrepreneurship and Finance and Kessenich E.P. Faculty Director at the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Samir Mayekar, associate vice president and managing director of the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Chicago Booth.
Description: Chicago Booth’s Edward L. Kaplan, ’71, New Venture Challenge is widely recognized as one of the top-ranked accelerator programs in the nation. The program has launched companies like Grubhub, Braintree/Venmo, Tovala, and Simple Mills. In this session, Professor Kaplan and Samir Mayekar will discuss the most recent cohort of student participants and their companies. They will also highlight current student entrepreneur engagement through broader Polsky Center offerings.
*Back to Booth is supported by the Fred G. Steingraber/Kearney Endowment. The endowment supports lifelong learning among Chicago Booth alumni.
